It appears Alexei Ponikarovsky may be joining Ilya Kovalchuk in the KHL. Ponikarovsky has reportedly signed a deal with SKA, the same club Kovalchuk now plays for, according to Sports.rus Igor Eronko. "We spent summer together with Kovalchuk, he praised SKA, told me about the organization, and that helped to make decision," Ponikarovsky said, according to Eronko.
