Three races back, in June, in a Group 2 (a very tough level) stakes in Germany, because of the addition of blinkers, she won in a field of 16. She won her first start this year, in June, and is unbeaten in three races since. Her last race was her best effort yet, as she won the Grade 2 Sands Point Stakes, at this nine furlong turf trip. Jose Ortiz is the only jockey to ride On Leave to date and knows exactly what to do in order to get her to win. The 110 Equibase Figure she earned winning the Sands Point stacks up just fine when compared to the 112 figure Catch a Glimpse earned winning the Belmont Oaks Invitational and the 111 Harmonize earned winning the Del Mar Oaks. Best of all, On Leave has demonstrated the fastest final quarter-mile time of any horse in this field, running 22.6 when winning in July and 22.5 when victorious in the Riskaverse Stakes in August.
